We believe that in order to have a successful SEO campaign, you must structure your processes in four main stages. I wrote this article to answer one of the most common things I hear while interviewing new clients. Which is, “What sets you apart from all of the other search engine optimization companies I have spoken with”? Stay tuned and I will dive deep into the answer to that question.
The first mistake many Webmasters make is to jump right into the design and coding process before they can actually grasp what type of a market they are going to target. Every business has a “niche”, and in order to thrive on the web, it is very important to use a company’s niche to separate that company from the rest (refer to our article on ”Finding your Niche” for more info).
Before we start any web construction or search engine optimization work, either myself or a representative will spend time doing research on our clients niche, completion analysis, and any other factors that will play a role in the outcome of the campaign. After a solid understanding of the company has been reached, we then spend time with the client to formulate a unique plan of action so the end results will be the most desirable outcome.
The next step is to design and develop the site with that target market in mind. We always find things a business’s clients all have in common and use those findings to build towards helping those people. If you want to expand later on that is always fine, but on the initial campaign, it is very essential to target a honed in market.
Finally, once a site is completed and launched, extensive updating and inward linking is performed to bring the site into high traffic areas within that businesses target market. When done with this approach not only will you see a return on the investment you have made, but you will may also notice that the clients you do pull in off the internet are a better fit your company because they have done their research themselves and know what they are involved with.
I hope this article has been helpful for anybody who has read it, and I want everybody considering making an investment on the web to do their research themselves and understand value over price.
